    Show your Saab 9-5 dash

The Saab 9-5 may not have the most exciting dash layout but it is functional and has many different options when it comes to materials and color.

These are my previous and current dashes.

    2001 9-5 Arc - reddish-brown walnut

    2005 9-5 Aero SportWagon - aluminium-like

    2005 9-5 Aero - carbon fibre

    2006 9-5 Aero - aluminium-like

I have that funky orange walnut that isn't glossy.

Some days I love it, some days I hate it. Kind of wish I had the really dark wood.

Psymon was kind enough to send me a tip on a Blackwood dash panel and console cover from a seller on SC. I received it today and can't wait to install. Thanks Simon!

My favorite for the beige interior is medium to dark wood, even though I like the lighter wood in J-rod's car as well. I think that would look nicer if it was a bit shinier. The alu/silver dash fits the black interior very well but I don't care for it with other interior colors. Psymon's replacement looks so much nicer.

I was browsing a European eBay site and found this custom dash panel in Palisander / Rosewood. Definitely different and unique but a bit out of my range at EUR 900 / US$ 1,275.

That rosewood looks amazing. I'm glad you got the dash and console pieces. I'm sure they will look great in your car. Thanks again for lending me the nav removal pieces. Consequently, If you want to sell your carbon fiber interior, it would look perfect in my smoke beige 9-5 sedan with grey interior.

Give me a few days to make sure I am going to like my new dash and you'll be the first one in line for the CF dash. I think it would like nice with a grey interior.

Swapping the dash was much easier than I thought it was going to be. Say what you will about the dated. modular 9-5 dash but it makes it easy to swap out components and the dash itself. I am very happy with the look of the Blackwood so far.

The new interior looks great. I wish I found that when I was looking but I am happy with mine. The aluminum look or cf don't jive that well with the tan interior imo. It goes well with black or grey interior. I am thinking about painting my door card centers black to look like the black int cars with the two tone.

Took some time last night and cleaned out the '04 and took an opportunity to get a picture of it clean. Charcoal leather seats, two-tone door panels and the carbon fiber dash...
