Hello everyone just got a Saab 900s 1995 4cyl convertible gonna be doing some work on it simple maintenance stuff right now. if i have any questions ill post them=)

Welcome to SAAB World! I used to have a 1995 900 SE Turbo, same car as yours minus the cloth roof. They're easy to work on but the convertibles have the tops to deal with. What are your maintenance items that must be taken care of?

actually im kind of doubting i have a 95 900s idk how to determin what kind of saab this is. the way u described it so far is correct has a convertible soft top 4cyl 2 door what else can i look for because the manual says 900 im confused

If it's a SAAB Convertible it is a 900, or a 9-3, unless someone took a Sawzall to a 9000, 9-5, or any other SAAB...

Up to 1994 the SAAB 900 Convertible looked like this, aka Classic 900:


From 1995 to 1999 it was this, aka the NG900 (New Generation 900):


In 1998 the NG900 was extensivelly modified, although sheet metal stayed the same, and renamed the 9-3:


2002 saw a fully new car, the new 9-3:


In 2008 the 9-3 was facelifted, the last 9-3 Convertible:


So if yours is a 1995 it should be the NG900 type.

awesome so it definitely is a 95 Saab according to the picture u posted thats my exact car so awesome at least now i kno when asked its a 95 Saab 900 once again thank you!

That's a solid car with a strong engine. Is it auto or stick? Any problems with the top or is it fully functional?
