    1993 900S - my NEW ride!

Got a new Saab ... well, an old Saab, but new to me.

1993 900S 16V, non-turbo. Under 200,000 KMs, 1 owner! And she makes me look like I'm not interested in Saabs!
I ran it down to Aktive Motors last night ... big mistake. Took me an hour to clean the drool off the car!!! Damn Saab nuts! ;-)

I don't have it "on the road" yet ... should be this weekend. I will take some more pics then. In the mean time, enjoy these.

I am looking for some audio suggestions ...
It appears that only the speakers on the back deck are connected / operational.

I am also considering swapping out the aftermarket deck for a newer model.
I am looking at the JVC KD-X50BT.
Bluetooth and iPod connectivity are necessary.
Possible future expansion with extra speakers / amps / sub are also something I am looking out for.

Any thoughts / ideas / suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm also open to anything else I may need to know ... I know the newer Saabs (96-05) really well, but C900's are foreign to me.

The newer Saabs are also all foreign to you. No Saab was ever manufactured in The Great White North..

The good thing about you not knowing much about the 900 is that we'll see your virtual face around this place a bit more often. And yeah, watch out for those damn Saab nuts. They are a crazy cult..

Sorry ... they were built in Mexico I believe, next to the Cadillac SRX ...

Might be part of N/A, but certainly ain't "the Great White North"! ;-)

I took that as meaning North America.

Nice car! I Like that colour of the interior/leather Also 4 doors are very practical.. I like my 3-doors but fight with it every time when putting things in the backseat

You dont happened to have the Saab original audio manual for MY93 ? Im looking for it for my Saab Clarion site: http://saabworld.net/f5/saab-clarion...-system-27164/ :-)

    Enjoy your new car!

I have a son with cerebral palsy ... and while he CAN get in the back of a 900 3-door, it just isn't practical. Fortunately, this one isn't, so I didn't have to worry about that.

And actually, yes, I was looking through the stuff the car came with and the audio manual is one of those things! I'll take a look at it and see if it could easily be scanned ...

    lol ... no worries!
Allow ME to apologize ... it never occurred to me that "The Great White North" was a N/A saying (likely even limited to Canada and northern parts of the US).

Any thoughts on my audio comments would be appreciated ...

The weekend is coming and I'm thinking that it would be a good time (especially as I am planning on having the car on the road for Saturday) to swap out the head unit and start tracing speaker wiring ...
