You weren't sniping an auction for a book The Saab Way, were you?? I was bidding at the last moment but someone sniped it with a higher bid than I was willing to pay.

Spirit of Saab book found on eBay. Still wrapped in plastic and looks like new. I already have this book but couldn't pass up this opportunity for this increasingly rare book. Perhaps we can use it for a raffle on SaabWorld.

I bought this on eBay today for $25, it's that accessory fleece blanket thing that zips up into a travel bag/pillow. And it says Saab on it, so you know it's good. :-)

I registered for the US Customer Care program and received this gift with a friendly letter in the mail. It's nice to receive mail and presents from Saab again.

I got mine a few weeks ago and also registered my parent's cars. Can never have too much stainless polish!

Thanks for mentioning the gift for registering. I haven't registered. Is there a use for polish? I just use car soap, clay bar, and wax.

In 2005, Saab sent new car buyers a blanket except not to European delivery buyers. I got a Saab kIey ring and book in Sweden instead.

    I just registered too

Yesterday I got in the mail my latest Saab eBay item, an original punctured tire plastic bag, still with the factory string tied around it. Apparently it came with the 900 Turbo, to keep the trunk area clean when putting a punctured full size tire in there. Nice touch. It's going into my 900i glove box.

Nice surprise in the mail today. I arrived home and saw a large legal-sized white envelope sticking out of my mail box... who could be sending me stuff?

Some company named Saab Swedish Distribution Services...

I had absolutely no clue as to what the envelope contained, but soon found out.

Inside were two Saab window stickers, plus a letter thanking me for participating in a web contest for Saab photos. The contest was run on the German Saab blog, Saab Blog, and my photo of my C900 on the edge of the Danube river came in fifth place out of eleven entered.

I really like the new logo on the stickers, Saab: More Than A Car, after all with the manufacturing finished what is left of Saab is the community and the camaraderie, of which Saab World is a prime example. It was a real pleasant surprise to get this small token of gratitude from Saab.

Today I also spent some money ordering some parts I needed for the C900, like a forward engine mount (affects the shifting on the C900 and one of the issues I have on that car), distributor cap and rotors, and two oil filters.

I saved that from my classic 900. For a while, I kept it in my 9-3. Not anymore. It would be a sad day to see the bag opened and a dirty flat tire put inside. Now I keep a very large Continental Airlines plastic bag in the car. True, that may be a collectable since Continental Airlines bought United and uses the United Airlines name. However, that bag, I'll use if I have a flat tire.
