Potential 9-5 owner
New here. I've been very pleased with my Peugeot 406 HDI 110 for the last 11 years, and its now time to buy something for the next 10 years or so. I am very interested in a 9-5 diesel. I would want automatic gearbox, leather seats and satnav. And approx 2 years old. Anything I should be aware of about this model?

I moved your post to the 9-5 Workshop, hopefully it will get some more attention from diesel owners. Haslemere in England?

I don't have any experience with or know much about the diesel engines but I read about the 3.0 liter diesel not being the best choice. There is something about it in the 9-5 buyers guide, along with other info about the 9-5. http://saabworld.net/f9/saab-9-5-buyers-guide-693/
The satnav in the 9-5 is an older system so don't except all the latest and greatest future. It was developed in the early 2000s and introduced for the 2003 or 2004 model year. Nothing changed since then. Navsat technology changed just a bit in the last 10 years. Having said that, it still is a good system and I enjoyed having it in my previous 9-5.
