2001 Saab 9.5 - Performance bypass valve

Hi,

I have 2001 Saab 9.5. I got some problem with the bypass valve.
Have anybody known or heard about the ,, metal bypass valve ,, (aftermarket one) ? Is that better than the original plastic one ? Because the metal one has no any rubber part inside. The metal one is bigger. Would it make louder or different noise, than the original one ?

I have the Forge version of the one in your link and have been very happy with it. There is a different noise with it compared to the stock Bosh DV. It's most noticeable with an open air intake.

I have a Forge brand aluminum body by-pass valve with rubber diaphragm internals. These aftermarket by-pass valves really aren't "performance" parts as they do nothing other than adding some bling to your engine compartment.
