I replaced the O ring. I seem to have a leak coming from along the radiator on the passenger side. The crazy thing is I bought a radiator less than a year ago

Check the air bleed hose on the passenger side of the radiator at the top if you reuse that hose clamp is probably not holding it securely anymore

I replaced the water pump this weekend. Even though it wasn't a fun job to do, it all was put together again and appeared to be fine. Until I put the coolant back in and it started leaking out from somewhere.
1. Those washers with those rubber inserts looked a bit old but I didn't have any replacements so put the old ones back. Trying to find a part number so I can order because I doubt a local parts store will have these.
2. I ordered an aftermarket water pump from TheSaabSite and the brand was Professional Parts Sweden. It came with 2 x #4, #3 rubber o-ring and #2 gasket. However, one of the #4 o-rings was a bit larger than the other one and didn't quite fit very snug when I pushed the #8 intot the pump assembly. That could be another possible cause for the leak.
Some water pumps from Hepu and Saab show 3 large o-rings/ Two of the same size and one that looks a little bit larger. So perhaps I am missing one #4 o-ring. But where is the larger one supposed to go?
3. The WIS instructions show that the #4 seals have to be greased with "30 06 442 white high-pressure grease paste". Of course I didn't have that either so that may be another cause of the leaking after pump replacement? Seems a bit unlikely because it was quite a steady dripping of coolant. Is this something you can get at auto parts stores or order online? TheSaabSite (owned by Saab Parts North America - Orio) shows this has been discontinued: http://www.thesaabsite.com/search.ph...ne%5B%5D=B235R
So..... I guess the next step is ordering another #4 and trying to fin those washers with rubber inserts. Is it possible the #8 connecting piece was put in the wrong way ?
Just very frustrating after a long day of work when you think you're all done... If anyone has any other suggestions where I could have messed up?

Part numbers for #13 is 11066422 and #13A is 5959242.
Searching for 11066422 on eEuro's site shows just a regular copper washer. SAAB Seal Ring (12 x 1.5mm) 11066422 - Victor Reinz 11066422A - Free Shipping
Searching for #13 - 5959242 shows the same results, not even sure why they would even be different.
This is the type of washer that are currently in there.

Found the washer on TheSaabSite: http://www.thesaabsite.com/search.ph...ne%5B%5D=B235R
I haven't found a good tutorial explaining all these issues with o-rings and washers so perhaps it's time to make one..

If it was a steady dripping with the engine not even running in the cooling system not under pressure it's probably something simple like a clamp that is not in place or O-ring that split or rolled out. Newer cars only take two O-rings on the adapter pipe and they're both the same size so you don't have to worry about that.

It is a steady dripping with the engine not running. The main suspect is that one o-ring on the connector piece that was bigger it was supposed to be. Perhaps it moved from the connector piece when I pushed it into the pump. I just have to back in there and see where it is coming from. I am pretty sure I put everything back together correctly but could be something that isn't clamped properly as you mentioned.
Note to others: When you do this job, fill engine with coolant after you have the pump, hoses and lines in place and before you put everything else back together.

It looks like this grease paste the WIS is referring to is the same as Gleitmo 805. I found it on eBay but is expensive at about $40 shipped for a 500gr tube. And if you just need a tiny amount..
Any other suggestions of what to use? I read white lithium or silicone grease should be fine.
