OK, I'm confused about which plugs to get for my '04 9-5 Arc

The FAQ states NGK BCPR 6H-11's

NGK Canada and NAPA only list the following;

The BCPR6ES is the new standard spark plug for the B235L engine. This is also the plug the US website lists for this engine. From what I remember, the BCPR 6H-11 is not manufactured anymore. For Canada, the BCPR6EGP seems to be the regular plug for your engine.

I usually trust the eEuroparts recommendation.

The PFR6H-10 is recommended for the Aero engine. I don't think it would hurt to use those in the B235L but they are expensive (US$11 each).

ok, replaced the plugs, and I have to say it was the easiest plug replacement I've ever done :-)

The plugs I pulled out were NGK PFR6H-10's which I'm assuming were the original plugs. They look pretty fresh tho, so I will assume they were replaced to try and stop the missfire code.

I've popped some NGK BCPR6EY-11's in as it was all I could fine in my local store....they seem to work anyway, lets just see if my missfire code returns or not.

When I bought my 2.3t Vector (b235e) , I didn't know that it had a stage 1 maptun remap (185bhp to 235bhp), and it was running with platinum plugs. Would the upgrade require the platinum plugs, or should I switch them out for the recommended bcpr6es-11?

For what it is worth, the number after the plug type is the pre-set electrode gap in 1/10 mm. So NGK BCPR 6ES-11 is a BCPR6ES with a pre-set gap of 1.1mm.
If the plug you want isn't available with the required pre-set gap simply by a general plug e.g. BCPR6ES, and set the gap manually using a d
feeler gauge.
