    About SaabWorld

    SaabWorld was started in the summer of 2010. There were already several Saab forums/blogs and the aim was to become more than just another forum or blog. SaabWorld is a not-for-profit community owned and run by Saab enthusiasts. We are a global community with members from many different countries where the common language is English. The site is financially supported by a few ads for visitors and we do not accept corporate sponsorship or advertising.

    SaabWorld is the first and largest English site to offer all of these features in one place:

    • Marketplace for selling and buying anything Saab;
    • Garage for sharing pictures and documenting Saabs;
    • Downloads with a large selection of many brochures and technical documentation;
    • Gallery with thousands of member and official Saab images;
    • Forums with Saab, Workshop, Tutorial and Regional sections, Archives with press releases and other Saab documentation;
    • Blogs where members can start a weblog for personal use and share with other enthusiasts;
    • Articles, an active weblog where the SaabWorld moderators and members report on what's happening in the world of Saab.

    Jeffrey started working on Saab's when he was 17 when his close friend, also Jeff bought his first Saab - a 1986 c900 Turbo 5 speed. Jeffrey quickly got the bug and bought a 1987 9000 turbo 5 speed and was instantly hooked.

    When he graduated from Automotive Training Center in Exton, PA in 2006 he was already working in a Saab dealership since 2005 in Doylestown, PA. Jeffrey completed all his Saab and GM training required to reach Saab Master Technician status by 2008. In Late 2011 he worked for another Saab dealership in West Chester, PA and stayed there long enough to watch Saab crumble in the hands of GM.

    Needing a fresh start he headed to BMW and learned to repair them in early 2012. Jeffrey and his wife currently own 6 Saab's ranging from 1973 - 2003. They love them all, but wish there was more time in the day to play with them.

    Jeff has future prospects of owning & operating his own independent foreign repair shop when the economy improves enough.
