Replaced main bearings now have starting / stalling issue
My 2001 9-5 with 2.3T had 129,000 miles & the infamous sludge problem & oil light was flickering. All bearing surfaces were o.k.. Replaced main & rod bearings to care of the clogged screen and replaced the o rings, used the right gasket sealant. Pulled fuses to fuel pump and injectors to prime the system with oil without starting. I replaced the fuses and now I can hear the fuel pump engage and stop and the the car starts but then shuts off in about 3 seconds. it will restart no problem but then shuts right down again. Any thoughts or ideas?
