Cant Get Into Saab Wanted
I am going to ge the Wulf route and try and pick up and 05 Aero Wagon with navigation and low miles. Seems I can sell my 08 Combi for a few bucks and pick up something I really want. So, anyone out there who can help me out here keep it in mind.
Tried to post it in Saabs Wanted link but today the is no post new thread tab?

Saab: rare in the US
Aero: not that common
Wagon: not very popular
Navigation: was an expensive option, not many 9-5 have it
2005: 8 year old car, most I have seen have 80 - 90K+ miles or more.
I don't want to discourage you but finding a 9-5 Aero Wagon with low miles and navigation can be somewhat of a challenge. And be prepared to travel anywhere in the US to get what you want. It can take many months or a year to find exactly what you want.
I found mine through cars.com and was on there many times a week. My current car was listed for just a few days and didn't even have any pictures yet. It was just difficult to believe finding a one-owner '05 9-5 Aero wagon with 41K miles but I jumped on it and made a quick decision. It was listed for $9000 and I told the sales guy that was too much. He came back with $7,600 and I didn't even consider making a lower offer than that. I would have paid $10-12K or perhaps even more. Sure, I wish it had navigation or even ventilated seats but low miles and great condition were more important considerations.

Why the need for factory navigation systems? Those things get outdated quickly, are hard to update and portable systems from Tomtom, Garmin, etc are much better.

It's not the greatest nav system but still works good enough to get you where you want to go. The main thing for me is that it is perfectly integrated with the dash and entertainment system. Sure, my $200 Garmin has more features and free map updates but there is something about having the factory nav. It just looks and feels right. The female navigation voice is the nicest I have ever heard from a nav system.

I took your cars.com suggestion and found a Fusion Blue 2008 2.3t Sedan with under 25K miles for only $12K at a Dealer in Ohio.
If I had the space I would start buying and storing low mileage models such as this for future use.

I don't think there is a 2.3t in 08. I believe it would be a T. I really dont want another 08 as that is the year I will be selling.
