Help wiring in rear 6x9 with the OEM amp in the boot ?
Hi
I want to change the rear OEM speakers and add some 6X9 as the holes are their already. I want to also add a small amp to power them. How do I wire this new amp up to the rear amp that is in the boot already?
How do I also get the front dash speaker grills off ( i havent tried yet)
The car is a 2008 9-3.

How is the wiring done? I've installed 6x9 in mine. I've connected the 354R - AMP2 and I've wired the cables from H8-1 the grey connecter on rear shelf to the speakers, but I'm not sure what happens between these connectors, are they connected by default? I have the ES1-7: 150W Premium Sound System by default. The connector for AMP2 was already in the trunk along with optic cables.
I think I can see that there are 8 cabels in for the H8-1, and previously before I changed the wiring harness on the shelf, it was only 4 cables out from H8-1.Last edited by Kicken; 01 August 2014 at 19:42.
