c900 T16S in Prague (CZE)

Hi there!

Just brought my new 1986 c900 T16S, flatnose with airflow kit into garage! Changed it for my previous 9-5 LPT. There is lot of work on "to do" list, but I hope it'll be almost ready on the start of this years season.

Welcome to Saab World! Beautiful machine you got there.

I live 3 hours west of you, in Ansbach, near Nuremberg, Germany. I think you are the closest Saab World member to me. There are quite a few small Saab events going on on our side of the border, anything on the Czech side? In early June there is the Saab Festival in Sweden, I am planning on going, along with a few other guys from Saab World, would you be interested in coming along?

On our side there are some small events too. We did the Saab support convoy +2 this year, interesting yearly meetings are "Saab slet" in Roudnice nad Labem usually in May (about 100 cars), than "Saab Drive" starting in Prague, it is one day trip across Central Czech, usually in June, than "Sobí Lipno" is meeting in camp on Lipno lakeside (Friday-Sunday) usually in August organized by Saabinfo.net. Also on Saabinfo.net is organising "Bavorský sobí slet" in Bayern, Germany in Czech-German hotel about 5 km from CZ-DE border, I was here in 2011 with my former 9000 Aero - thats probably closest action to you, usually in September (Friday-Sunday).

What about events in DE? I know about "Saab treffen in Bayerischen Wald" and nothing more.

Some of my friends here are also plannig to go to the Festival. I want to go but I'm very very unsure if T16 will be fully prepared that soon.
