Looks nice, probably miising the airflow kit a bit.

I saw you have the US-spec headlights, do you know any shop, where I can buy them? Here in Europe it is a problem and I like them vecry much!

Did not have air flow when I got it. She has 226100 miles. Our other saabs are 1985 Turbo with 289100 miles still being worked on and a 1985 4door saloon with 181000 miles and my son drives it everyday. We use rockauto.com and thesaabsite.com for most parts.

Ha, here in the USA we covet the Euro headlights! That's funny.

The rims on my '86 are ET40. So are some other front-handbrake rims I have. The friend I talked about has only 16x6" wheels, not 17. I don't know what offset they are, but they ride more inboard so they don't rub even with the larger tire sizes. Using a rim that rides inboard more would allow you to mount wider tires, I think. But then you begin to sacrifice clearance in the inside.
Ask me a question about your c900! I promise I either can answer it or know someone who can

Too bad I threw them away. I used to have a 1982 900 and replaced the headlights with European spec headlights. When I moved in 1986, I couldn't find a buyer. This was in the days before e-bay or the internet. Later, I had a 1990 900. I liked the H4 lights so much that I replaced the US spec lights even though they looked the same except to those Saab enthusiasts who really looked closely at them.

You always want to have what others dont. So you in US are converting to our and we to yours. But I just love them, they look sharp, sharper than the euros.

Next week on Monday I'm going to try to put 17x8 ET35 rims on. So we can see if this will work. If not I'll sell them and will try to find some nice 16" Ronal Turbos/Aeros or maybe these BBS RS style rims.

Situation changed, ACTs were too wide (17X8) so I sold them and started to look for some others. I can buy Azev A's (on the picture), but they are 17x7,5 and I'm afraid that won't work. But I think that these on this picture are 17x7,5 - can anyone help me identify wide of these and what tyre is on it?

JohnJardine: What are yours? 7,5J or 7J?

Hi again I have 17 inch wheels on my 1991 900s and they are 7 inches wide. They do not rub and I have 40000 miles at least with these rims.

I will check tomorrow if they fit on the 1985 900 turbo. My rims fit both bolt patterns.

You should also check the offset. IIRC the 900 offset is 40mm.

John: Thank you. I need to know what offset is your wheel and how much space you have "behind" the wheel. With offset 35 and 17x8 I didn't rub. but wheel was in touch with spring - front and with back side of arch - back.

These Azev's I can buy are 17x7,5 with offset 30 so I really don't know if it can work.
