Just had rim off car size is 8 inches offset is 5.25 inches. Also put extra rim on car that is 15 inch but a 6J with et 33. this rim is in same spot on shock tower. about 1/2 inch clear. Bolt pattern did not fit 85 thought they did. bolt pattern changes so check fit first. Tires do not rub with four adult in car. No front end problems same 1/2 clear.

Thank you! Do you know ET on these 17x8, thought offset=ET but as I see, it isn't. About patterns - do you mean the 4x114,3 contra 4x108 difference or something different?
If you can ride 17x8 (weird I can't, but thats propbably ET problem), I think I can ride these AZEV's and that's great, I really like them.

In accordance to link you posted, offset is actually ET. Maybe ET is expression in our parts of world and offset in yours, I can't explain it, but there's evidence -> Bolt pattern | Stud Pattern : Offset

I always used ET and offset being the same but never knew what ET stood for. Now I know with help from Wikipedia:
Wheels are usually stamped with their offset using the German prefix "ET", meaning "Einpresstiefe" or, literally, "press depth". An example would be "ET45" for a 45mm offset.

I think the ET must be close to the 33 that my spare rim has because of the same rear clearance. I did measure correctly going by that web page and 5.25 inches for the inside of the rim. The fit is close but never hit anything and handles real nice through turns.

So finally I bought them and they are on the way. 17x7,5 ET30, I spoke to one guy here, here is link on his tuned (274 PS, 509 Nm) flatnose -> http://saabinfo.net/index.php?option...=817&Itemid=15 , he rides Borbet A's 17x7,5 ET30 on "new" axles and told me that everything works fine.
They need to bigger the centre hole and then I'll try them. Wish me luck.

Today, 2 months after buying, I could drive the car home. Much of work is done, too much left for the future. But at all, the car works. I have also fitted 17 Azev A's, painted to matte gray (center caps to be painted till end of this week). I think, the car lloks beautiful on these wheels.
