I live in Vermont, so I'll be there one of the two days with my bone-stock N/A C900. I don't know which day, probably the one that has the most SW members. Maybe I can drag my girlfriend along, with her Volvo, too
Ask me a question about your c900! I promise I either can answer it or know someone who can

    Question

I am looking forward to the meet in Albany. Can anyone tell me which is the best day to attend if I can only drive out for one day?

Saturday is usually the best with the most events going on. Peter Backstrom, curator of the the SAAB Car Museum in Trollhattan is going to be there but not sure if he'll be doing seminars again.

$465 for the Hotel which isnt bad what really sucks is they charge an extra $60 for another person even though the room includes 2 beds ? WTF lol. Can I just tell them I have 1 person instead of 2 ? I really think its a stupid rule, no hotel I have seen charges diff for 2 people vs 1

Not really even about the money but the principle

    Also Registration is $222

dam this is expensive but I am going.

The hotel is the expensive part but you don't necessarily have to stay there. A quick search shows motels in Albany start at $50 a night on August 16-18. Or a 2-star hotel through a Priceline Express deal for $41 with free internet, parking and breakfast. Maybe not as fancy as the SOC hotel but saves $100 a night.

Yea I know, its just where everything is happening so I wanted to for once stay at the actual location.

    But still its crappy

they charge an extra $60 for 2 people vs 1 lol

Also SOC Coordinator doesn't really account for people bringing a guest and who would like to attend these seminars/dinners etc

When you book through the hotel website, it shows a rate for $179 on Thursday and $139 Friday/Saturday, regardless of the number of people up to 4 (total $457 + tax). But that doesn't include breakfast while the SOC rates do include it. That's why they charge extra for extra people so not unusual.
