    Forums

There's (probably) a million forums out there -- which forums do you visit regularly?

I only have two -- Saabworld and Saabcentral (900 workshop). For 2-3 years I was a regular at a Australian political discussion forum but a couple of years ago got tired of the endless, predictable left v right arguments.
Sometimes look at other Saab forums if bored -- UK Saabs mainly.

This is the only one that I go to regularly. But I'm a member (and check every once in a while when I have questions) of:

X-H2O - Epicenter of Freestyle and Freeride jetskiing it's a freestyle jet-ski forum. It helps me keep my old stand up running.
Straight Razor Place - Welcome to Straight Razor Place it's a straight razor forum. Keeps me up to date on new shaving soaps/supplies and has a good classifieds, with great people.
Mountain Bike Review is a mountain bike forum. Couldn't remember my old name (what email did I use too?), so I had to make a new one the other day. Only use when I have to make a big purchase.

My username is almost always Shazam or ShazamV4.

Only the straight razor forum has a feeling of community, but it's too big and I visit to infrequently to actually be a part of it. The others just seem like a giant bulletin board where people just post stuff on it. Never really knowing who it came from, or what the person is like. That's why I like it here so much.

www.vbulletin.com for general forum info, vBulletin.org Forum - The Official vBulletin Resource! for modifications and a variety of other forum modification forums to keep up with updates, fix problems and new functionality.

I used to hang out on motorcycle forums but not so much anymore since I sold mine. Adventure Rider Motorcycle Forum is a pretty cool (independent) forum and covers anything for adventure type bikes. Lots of ride reports and other things as well. Even though it is a huge forum, there still is a very good community spirit among all the members.

As far as Saab forums go, I quite often visit the Dutch Saabforum.nl • Forumoverzicht . I visit saabcentral a few times a week but don't really see that many familiar names anymore. Seems like a lot of newer members with lower post counts so it lost a bit of the old community spirit, in my opinion. Not that it is necessarily a bad thing as the traffic is still there and that's all that counts for the owners. But I only check the 9-5 forum and sometimes 9-3 and the other forums may be better.

Not sure about any other Saab forums as there don't seem to be any good larger sites. I occasionally visit Saab Cars.de but don't post there.
