Hi, new member. Buying a 1997 900 for my wife today it has 113,000 miles. Live in Columbus Ohio area in need of best/least expensive parts location as well as a mechanic. Thanks

Your best best for parts are probably online, and even then you have to do some shopping around. Popular ones are:
