    This is exciting! You are putting your skills to good use. Maybe, I'll rethink my philosophy. Now it is to buy new, treat it well, don't let broken things be left unfixed. This saga shows that a sick car can be brought back to health and at not too much expense. Of course, the difference is that I mostly do routine maintenance and minor repairs myself, nothing complicated or needing great strength.

    Are these 9-5 wheels? I don't think I have ever seen those on a 9-3. Looks great.

    They came off a 2003 9-5 Aero - yes. They are my favorite 9-5 wheels. I want a Fusion Blue 9-3 Combi to put those wheels on....

    so much sex there.

    Talking Hijacked "Back to owning 6 Saab's.... this makes Saab #13" thread

    Thanks.

    Automatic - with a few more horses (and Nms) from the BSR stable to "compensate" for the losses.

    And, when having "hijacked" your very interesting thread: The aero turbines of or 9-3 was on my request at the purchase, replaced by the dealer (I'm wondering why they so eagerly gave us new rims and our preferred premium tires for free?), with 215/55 17". The road conditions in the land of nowhere we normally visit, are questionable .

    The summer wheels:

    The winter ones - and the 9-3:

    Keep up with the good work on your 9-3

    Quick update - I need to take a new picture in daylight but..... The new bumper is painted and fitted! I've also since replaced the broken wiper trans linkage assembly with a used one.

    Still need to sort out fog light bits to fit. I have a pair of lights - one is a bit broken internally - and I have word a switch may be coming my direction shortly.

    Otherwise - the new front bumper really makes this car look sharp as it derserves. Now to tackle the new high pitched whistle wind noise from the sun-roof when closed..... :-/

    OK - pictures!

    When I bought the car it looked like this essentially;

    Then I spruced it up a little to make it drivable with an old Aero lip I had;

    And FINALLY I got the New bumper I bought months ago painted AND Installed - here she is now;

    Now to find a nice front Euro plate to match the new bumper. . . .
