P0420 ECU code?
2001 95 2.3t (not aero) w/ 144k getting check engine light P0420 code. I've read a little and looks like it might be the catalytic converter or oxygen sensor. Any help would be appreciated. SID showing check ok.

SID has nothing to do with this. Likely it's due for a cat - I'd reccomend O2 sensors with it - but obviously the cost will be greatly increased. Time for a 3" DP from Genuinesaab.com perhaps.

By DP u mean down pipe from turbo? Also I heard that can cause a permanent CEL is that true? Also heard a bigger exhaust can cause the same permanent CEL....anyhow I cleared the code with my Torque app (which is a freaking awesome tool for $5) and it hasn't come back on in days....I'm not worrying about it....mpg seems about the same
