The amplifier stopped working
Hello!
I have a problem.
Own car SAAB 9-3 SS Vector, manufactured in 2003, 175 HP, petrol, turbo.
When they washed the car of the car wash, the amplifier stopped working. He had been wet.
The amplifier has number 12785229.
My question is:
with which other numbers amplifiers is interchangeable?
Because I saw that has the same view of amplifiers but other numbers, such as
12757370, 12800531.
Thank you in advance for any information and answer!

Yours does not come up in EPC for me as your car isn't a US car - but the old #12800531 goes to new #12757370
They go bad often
I would get the car wash place who damaged it to pay for a new one.European Motor Services, LLC - Point Pleasant, PA 18950 - www.europeanmotorsvc.com

HI!
My brother visited the auto parts store for Saab.
He lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
There are informed him that all three amplifiers are interchangeable.
Whether they can be trusted? Maybe.
This is the information that I could gather so far.
Greetings to all!

Hello!
Today I received amplifier part № 12800531. Second hand from Saab Parts and Saab Spares - Saab Parts and Saab Spares
After installation, the radio still does not work.
TECH 2 can not see radio and CD.
Can someone tell me if the bolt that secures the amplifier to the floor of the car, whether it is a "-" (minus), and it is important to put before the test.
Today I tried without turning the screw. Did I mistake?
My radio is like the picture.
The man who bought the car from said that the radio was working and stopped working after it gets wet at the car wash.
Does anyone have any idea what else?
Thank you in advance!

Hello!
Eliminated the problem.
First mount the amplifier part number 12800531, second hand purchased from Saab Parts and Saab Spares - Saab Parts and Saab Spares.
Once we started looking for the problem, remove the CD proved to be no hanging cables.
Once we found a bundle of cables, we found that the optical cable is out of it.
Apparently, those who have tried to correct the problem before you buy the car, did not understand anything. They are dismantling the radio and searched there the problem before reaching blown amp. Incompetents. They have broken the white sheath of optical cable.
We fixed and connect everything as it should is now the music system of the car is working fine.
Thank you all for your cooperation!
