So it appears that Saab Owners Convention has been announced early for 2014. It is going to be held in Redmond, OR at the Eagle Crest Resort. I believe--correct me if I'm wrong--it is normally announced at the convention the year prior. So I wasn't expecting to hear about this until August of this year.

I feel like I should go. But work is crazy, both of my Saabs have become quite unreliable, and I'm almost to the point of where I'll be ditching the 900 for something else...

Maybe it could be like the "last meal" for the 900 if I take it.

It isn't that much farther than the SOC in Colorado, is it? Road trip!

I came through the area last week and it has some great roads for driving. The Cascades Highway SW of Bend is amazing with snow-topped mountains, meadows, forests and crystal clear lakes. For enjoying the twisty roads, too bad I was in a rental and not my Saab. Bend is a cool town to visit and Portland isn't too far either. Seattle is only a few hundred miles away and the entire Pacific coast is awesome.

It's starting today. Friday seems the most interesting day and not much happening on Saturday and nothing on Sunday. Just don't understand why they don't make it more of a weekend event..
