Hi Everyone, I am a proud new owner of a used 2005 Saab 93 Arc. I'd like to add a little performance punch, with a reasonably priced performance upgrade. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks much!

Look up Vtuner or JZW for best bang for the buck.

Thanks a bunch for the advice! I went with the JZW tune and I am loving it. Unfortunately, its giving my clutch a beating, so next question -- any suggestions on a reasonable performance clutch? Also, whats the estimated labor time to install a clutch on 05 Saab?

Yo! Slow down will ya' ??
What tune did you get that will lunch a clutch in like 35 days?
My bud was into performance and used to change clutches like socks. One day I looked over at him and always knew he had "nervous energy" and stuff but I noted he would like be in and out on the clutch at every light. He admitted he couldn't help it but we had a few "interventions" and he was cured. Well sorta' cured.

I went with the newer stage 1 tune. I've already ordered a Spec stage 2 + clutch. I am hoping it will hold up well. Don't plan to be a stop light racer, but it feels good to have the added pull.

What about the Hirsch upgrade? Not sure what's entailed and the cost to smile ratio hopefully someone else can chime in?

Why pay over twice as much for a product and worse, what will be the fate it when and if Saab takes a dive? Brian and V tunes will probably be here since they service other cars.
Wheels are also too pricey. Before I spend that much on wheels I would go with a US company that is probably even superior and offer support after the sale. HRE were so nice to me over the phone and spoke with the guy installing my wheels when it came to the sensors and assured me they would repair any wheel in the future of replace it if need be.
I bought the HRE's used and they owed me not a thing and even made copies and all the instructions for free. I doubt Hirsch would lift a finger to help much less take the time to hit the Xerox, and send stuff out much less speak to the mech installing them. HRE scored big points with me that day.
I may never be able to afford new wheels like that but if I could!
