Don't forget the sentimental value, it's hard to put a price on that.

I need to write down all the details and take many pictures but it will be in the $12K range, including a set of winter wheels with almost new tires.
    Take a trade for a Mazda 6 + $6000?? It'd make a perfect winter beater!

Kidding aside (unless that sounds good (doubt it does though)), congrats on the new car! And good luck selling your 9-5. My brother might be supporting the brand in a little while. Bluegrass Saab has a new black over parchment 2011 9-3 for $24k and after trade in of his car and other incentives the monthly payments would be completely affordable. I hope he goes through with it!

I'll trade you for mine ... straight up! ;-)

Glad to hear you managed to sort this out ... I was very concerned that if the situation could turn you off buying a new Saab ...

I picked it up this morning and had a wonderful 400-mile drive home.

Wow, wat an amazing vehicle. The test drive was nice last weekend but it turned out even better on the long drive home. I will make a review in a few weeks after I get more familiar with it because there is so much to talk about. And mostly only good things!

I also have to take some more pictures as these were taken at a rest area. The first thing I did when i got home was washing the bugs off. Can't have that on a new car.

Mike, I'll be sending you a self-addressed stamped envelope this week because I need a SaabWorld sticker for this one.

I feel very fortunate and lucky to live in a country where it is possible to buy and drive a vehicle like this. In most European countries, it would cost 3 to 4 times as much to buy and you would have to sell both an arm and a leg to afford fuel and road tax, use tax, city tax, parking, gas guzzler tax and "whatever-we-think-of-charging-because-we-can" tax.

I forgot to send you the message! It was still in my drafts. I must have left it up and forgotten about it. Anywho, just PM your address again (I've lost it again!), and I'll put them in the mail for you. For the founder, I can spare the $.44 and envelope.

As much as I like this car, I have to say the rims are not its strongest points... In any case, waiting for your full report and pics!. The last one is stunning, by the way.
