Congrats, Frank. I know it´s sad to see her go, but, as you said, she is in good hands and budget is budget is budget.

Sorry, I am late to the party... Congrats on the new ride. She looks great. Where is the detailed pictures and write up or did I miss it on another thread??
To be honest, I am surprised you sold your 9-5 but such is life I guess.

Love the vehicle, but I just can't get over that it is a Mexican built Saab with a Mexican engine (at least the two I looked at had Mexican engines). It also doesn't have the HUD, which is a must after you have used it. Anyway, I tried to deal with my feelings, but ended up with a new 9-5 with HUD.

Frank, how is the accuracy of your trip computer's stated fuel economy vs actual? Mine is off by 10%, and it is not in my favor.

The 9-4X is more of an American Saab like an X5 is an American BMW and Altima is an American Nissan. But more than a million Swedes emigrated to the USA and they are still a bit Swedish, right?

My trip computer's fuel economy is spot on with and is close to 0.2 mpg from my manual fuel logs.

Glad to hear your trip computer is accurate.

An American Saab, I can deal with that, but a Mexican Saab sounds like a bad song from the 80's. Another bad choice from GM, IMO.

Even VW moved production from Mexico to the US.
