    esp warning when rims changed!

my 2011 9-5 aero came with 19" rims but for the winter I changed the rims to 17" with wintertires. Ever since I changed the rims the esp-warning lights up. When I change gear the warning light goes off. Does the software need adjusting when the size of the rims are changed? Or is this software bug?
Does anybody have any expereance with this?

I don't get the warning going from 19" to 18" ... can't help figure out the issue with 17" though. Sorry.

The new 9-5 is a strange one, you may need to change the settings for the wheels and it may new software too.

Did anyone find any solutions on this? I've got a 2011 9-5, simply bought new tires and am now having ESP issues. HELP?

What a pain, eh? For me, it wasn't even new rims with different sizes, it was just a set of all new tires. I think I'll just turn off my ESP and not worry about it. Thanks for responding.

I also have 19"wheels and get the message with the 17"winter tires. I bought the winter tires from America with the exact same set-up as the originals. I am going somewhere tomorrow who can hopefully reset the computer for the winter tires. Will let you know the outcome
