    Nokian WR G2

    Type: High Performance All-Weather
    Size:3/45 R 17 97V
    Car: 2007 9-3 2.0 Convertible
    Where bought: Direct Tire
    Price paid: $1100 USD -
Miles driven on tires: 40,000 miles
Driving conditions: Boston - hot summers, winter conditions but not off-road
    Driving style: Spirited / Touring

    Would you buy again: Yes
Positives: Very confident driving in all weather

Does Nokian have different specs for the US market ? In the European market, they are advertised as winter tyres.

Nokians don't fit into normal categories

In the US I've seen Nokian WR tires marketed as either winter tires that can be used all year or as the only all-season tires with the winter tire rating.
Here most dealers have never heard of Nokian and when i show them the specs they are blown away.
As one dealer told me, most car owners just don't care. When he saw that I drove a Saab he knew that I was crazy enough to know about Nokians.
