Driving conditions: Boston - hot summers, winter conditions but not off-road
Driving style: Spirited / Touring
Tread wear / warranty: 700 AA
Would you buy again: Yes
Positives: Very confident driving in all weather
Negatives: none so far
Notes: I have loved not having to switch to winter tires. The tires are great in wet weather: no hydroplaning. Since I have a convertible it's hard ot tell how noisy they are compared to other tires

Does Nokian have different specs for the US market ? In the European market, they are advertised as winter tyres.

Nokians don't fit into normal categories
In the US I've seen Nokian WR tires marketed as either winter tires that can be used all year or as the only all-season tires with the winter tire rating.
Here most dealers have never heard of Nokian and when i show them the specs they are blown away.
As one dealer told me, most car owners just don't care. When he saw that I drove a Saab he knew that I was crazy enough to know about Nokians.
