Ahhh so you have LH 2.4 injection! Are you sure that car's an '87? Maybe the best way to attach a HUD is through an external thing, like a GPS. They tell you your speed and heading, anyway!

I do have a 2.2 LH system by flash codes do you mean a number of flashes from the (MIL) check engine light I'm pretty sure I have the EZK

Safety reasons I do a lot of night time driving.. and you have various after market HUD'S of different qualities and sizes and prices

Solved the HUD problem simple went to Crutchfield found a HUD that works with your smartphone Bluetooth just plug in your cigarette lighter gives you current speed GPS speed traps cameras ect. Made by Garmin $149.00 nice price I'm happy.. Thanks for all the responses and help it is and was and will always be appreciated....
