Bi-Xenon headlight fault indicator
This light come on after about 5-10 min. driving. One light (driver side) get's off, the other stays on but eventually turns off. When I restart the engine, both light are on again and I go through the same cycle.
Is there a way to know if this is the sensors and if, yes, is it the front or the rear? I looked at the front one, everything looks good, except the link arm ball joint, was a bit stiff, I loosed it but problem didn't go away, didn't check the back yet.
This is a 2003 9-5 Aero.
Thanks
Eldad

Thread moved to the workshop forum so perhaps better luck there.

There's some information and pictures on the thread on this section titled "Trip preperation. Any tips?" that might be useful.
When did you change the bulbs? Could they be bad? My 2002 with 250K + hasn't had that problem . . . yet, but when the bulbs get old then do tend to go off and come back on. I think I've only replaced once, but need to again now.

I have changed the bulbs few years ago when I got a clear indication that the bulb is gone. I didn't think that this is the case here since the light flickers and does come back on. I will go back and replace the light first before I try to replace the sensors. Thanks for the reply.
