Power Steering problem.
Hi there this is my first time on a forum so please forgive me if its not the best description of the problem
When my hubby started the car today the steering wheel was very stiff. Once he picked up speed the steering wheel went back to normal. He is wondering if it is the drive belt needing changed? Any help with this would be much appreciated
Oops forgot to say its a 2001 Saab 95 5 door petrol .
Thanks in advance.

Hey Wendy! I moved your thread over to the correct section. Hopefully you'll get some more attention now!
My first suggestion would be to check the power steering fluid level. If that is ok, check out the belt. The belt would probably have to be completely broken or somehow missing the pulley for the power steering pump. This is unlikely. Anyways, if the belt looks in good nick, your power steering pump might be shot.Free SaabWorld Stickers
