Why do SAAB 900 Gen. 1,s seem to lean when sitting still..
I've owned over six nine- hundreds Gen ones and they all seem to be leaning in every still picture I take. But the ride never seems ruff or steering or alignment out of line. Nothing out of whack just one of those things in all pictures not just mine their leaning on one side or the other ..maybe some one can answer this phenomenon and put my curiosity to rest..I know I'm not the only one who has noticed this

It's the traditional gangster lean!
Mine doesn't lean left to right, my problem is that the front end seems to be way up in the air when standing still, but driving down the road it feels just right. To tell the truth it seems to me that the wheel gap on the front is just designed to be larger than the rear, which gives the impression of the whole car leaning back.

They don't lean with new springs. Bad springs and to an extent bad shocks.
The rear springs sag over time. The load goes to back cos car is FWD. replace all springs and te problem will probably be gone.

I cannot speak for all of the one's I've had but the alignment the springs and shocks in the one in the picture were good and the one I own now as well maybe it's the surface. I just thought it maybe some sort of shock adjustments made during sitting for an prolong period of time. It was never a problem just a oddity I noticed on some pictures of mine as well as other pictures I've seen. Thanks for everyone's input they were interesting

It must have been your third beer that makes it lean. From where I'm standing, the whole street is leaning too.
