Need new brake pads + rotors.... I need some advice please
Hello
I have a 2002 9-5 Aero which needs new front pads and rotors, here are the ones that I'm looking at.
Akebono Brake Pads = $63.00
Centric High Carbon 125 Series Rotors: 2 @64 = $128
OR
EBC - Red Stuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads = $84.25
EBC - Ultimax Plain Rotors: 2 @56 = $112
Any advice or past experiences that you could pass along would be appreciated.
Thanks Gents!
Frank

I used Akebono Euro ceramic on the rears of my 9-3SS. Compared to stock, far less brake dust, stopping was fine. Actually the dust is the same color as wheels but there is less. After 10,000 miles, they were barely worn.

Pads pads pads
Had both; slightly prefered the EBC with Brembo. About 35k on EBC, Akebono lasted a little longer. Both are low dust. I felt the EBC were totally fade resistant (Utah mountains, dark of night, feelin' sporty). That would be my pick but you can't go wrong with either.
