Odd rattling noise from front
I have a 2001 9-5 SE with 70k miles and have a rattling sound from the front when turning the steering wheel at low speeds. Might be happening at higher speeds but can't hear it due to road noise. It doesn't really sound like wheel bearings since the noise seems to originate from the steering shaft area behind the firewall\, although I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully not something serious but...any ideas?

Start with checking your sway bar end links - if they are loose or click when you push/pull on them replace them. These create a rattle noise when bad.
