Here on the west (left) coast, where are are kings, and every major manufactor has a design house, if I see 1 SAAB a week that's alot ( I drive beteen 500 - 1K miles a week on SoCal byways)! And at least 3 times a week, someone will tell me how nice looking my S/C is and who makes it.I actually see more Ferraris, Lambo, Bentlys, Rolls,Aston Martins, than SAAB by a long shoot. Makes me wonder with all the excietment regarding my car, why SAAB had problems...GM never did get the right AD Men and $$ to do the right exposure....

That extra wipe when you use the windscreen wiper spray... but it's on a lot of newer cars now.

The general feel of driving one. Everything is just right when comes to brake and steering feel, seating position and comfort, controls, climate control and so on. I actually mostly notice things are perfect in Saabs when I drive a car that's not a Saab.

    1999 9-3SE (2013-2015), 2005 9-3 (2005-2013), 1990 900 (1990-2003)
There are many, but some include (*are the ones that are not too common in other cars):

    1. Inside trunk handle*
    2. Room for a full sized spare tire
    3. Easy to change the oil without a ramp and with the oil filter easily accessible* (oil filter is not the easiest in a 9-3 V-6 and previous 9-5)
    4. large speedometer in the center
    5. good seats* (though the 900 seemed better than the 9-3)
    6. door pockets (used to be rare, not any more)
    7. pocket in front of the seats (in the 9-3, not in the classic 900)
    8. availability of a manual transmission in cars for the U.S. market*
    9. general safety and good handling
    10. good illumination of the dial, not red
    11. availability of repair manual or WIS*
    12. practicality of FWD

I like #9 a lot. However, the others are very nice.

That it is a SAAB. Inside out and upside down, there is something special about them that is made of a lot of things: the looks (now, that´s something really special!), the interior layout, the key between the seats, the green dash illlumination, the night panel, the seats, the power, the way it is delivered. It´s the ton of things that make a SAAB a SAAB.

I am happy with my car. This is another lovable thing about the SAAB.

The adjustability of the seats. The fact that no other car looks like mine, unless it's a Saab!

When my car is 15 years old, it's still going to look good, it has a timeless style.

I most like my cars' general feel of integrity. It was built to last.

The feeling of structural integrity when driving. No other car I've driven comes close.
