Viggen seat skins??
The driver's side seat on my viggen CV is heavily crackled in the usual places, and the side vinyl piece has two deep gouges with the backing skrim showing. Because of this I was able to negotiate a better purchase price 6 weeks ago but I want to get the seat cover repaired or replaced.
Viggen convertible driver's seats are getting as rare as hen's teeth and most show a similar heavy wear pattern. I have a line on Viggen seats from a 5-door about 2-3 hours away that is being parted out. Obviously I can't use the entire seat, but can I use just the seat skin to recover my driver's seat? I would need to cut an opening for the latch release high on the side, but that sholdn't be hard.
In fact. If this is possible, I can probably use the cover from the passenger's seat since they typically receive far less wear than the driver's side.
Anyone with experience in this?

I did this with the skins on a c900.
Shouldn't be impossible, sorry that's all I got.
