Will 9-5 front seats swap directly into my 900?
I just learned I am acquiring a 9-5 sedan parts car, it has dark grey leather seats. I have a 91 900 Convertible. I will not be able to see it for a few weeks but am wondering if anyone has swapped front seats from a 9-5 into a 900?

I may have just figured out the answer, as my 900 is a 2 door convert with releases to allow entry to rear seats, the 9-5 is a 4 door and likely will not have this function.
still, any comments welcomed.

I doubt it is a direct fit. Even early and late C900 seats are not a direct swap.
That said you can make anything work if you are motivated enough. The heated and ventilated 95 seats would be a nice addition to the C900.

Thanks for the replies and apologies for the time-wasting question. As it turns out I will not be acquiring the car at all.

I will not delete, as it's worth having in here. Someone will have the same question eventually!
9000 seats work in classic 900 cars with automatic seat belts or any classic 900 car post-1990. But all 9000 cars had four doors, so the seats don't tilt forward. Some owners of two-door 900 cars have been known to either modify 9000 seats to tilt, or even just program one of the memory functions to be all the way forward and tilted against the steering wheel, which allows reasonable access to the back. Hey, whatever works! With some hack welding, anything is possible. Because it's seats, I wouldn't expect it to be _safe_.Ask me a question about your c900! I promise I either can answer it or know someone who can

My first Saab - 1987 9000T needed newer/nicer seats so I fitted some c900 hatch seats into it. Made for the ultimate loading in a 9000 with the front seats foldable
