For those unaware here is a link to the E800 software update (it was posted on the map update thread). Simply copy to a USB, plug it in and follow the instructions. It's very easy and has already been successfully applied by a number of members http://forum.saabturboclub.com/showt...-5-(2010-2012). regards

Hi Tom, my answer would have been the same (but without the dealer info as I am not in your area!)
Enjoy the 9-5

To make life easier Wulf has added the E800 software / firmware update to the Downloads section of the forum.

I am about to do the upgrade of the E800 software from the download on the forum. Can I just check that it does work and will not cause any problems. Have the same issue with the time reverting back to an hour later and also the Satnav default to Belgium but I am in the UK. Model 2010 NG 9-5. Thanks

I have not heard of anyone stating the E800 upgrade has caused problems. The upgrade is straightforward, however, if you have any concerns you could go to an official SAAB dealership and they can do it for you, usually free of charge. The software was provided free by Orio so is a bonafide source. Good luck
