Whining noise from Throttle body area.
Hi all, I'm having an issue...
I just started to hear a loud whining, an almost electrical sounding buzz from the throttle body area. It seems to be constant even when revving the engine. There is no change in tone or speed of the whining noise. The engine runs fine apart from a bit of an idle miss which seems to be a different problem which i've had for months. the whining is not the belts, alternator, or starter, or only during the initial start of the car. It stays on all the time. The turbo does seem to have a little oil leaking in to the intake but thats because of the age of the turbo, probably needs rebuilding... perhaps oil has entered the TB and is causing an issue?
I have a 2001 Sabb 9-5 SE 3.0 V6. 130K
Any thoughts???? I'm confused. pleaseeeeeeeee help
Thanks in Advance!!!
