screaming wheels
Hi all,new member here and i need some help.Developed a squeal from rear d/s wheel after about 4 miles of travelling and only stops when i break.New pads and squeal shims have been fitted, but problem has not gone away. Has anyone got any ideas, solutions as this is now driving me nuts !!!thanks in advance for any feed back.

Aftermarket brakes WILL do this. Also you must seat the breaks properly when new or they will develop a squeal.

Hi.
I had the exact same thing on my Renault.
I took apart the brake pads, noticed how the brake pads could not slide.
I dusted off with a small grit pad the metalic holder where the pads are supposed to slide.
No more noise!
I've been good for about 10k kms now.
BTW when i asked a Renault dealer, he proposed some fluid supposed to do the job... but i do not think it would have worked on the long run at all.
