2001 Saab 9-3 SE after market DIC unit
Hi everyone
I'm new at this discussion, is it OK to change a AFTER MARKET DIC (direct ignition coil ) unit on 2001 Saab 9-3 SE
I bought the Brand new DIC unit for my 2001 Saab 9-3 SE and now need to be change and not sure if I should use after market parts on Saab.
please help

Post this in the 1994 to 2003 Workshop threads below. It's Saab, it's "quirky" electrically and easy to f' up. There is some variation and one consideration is the color, that and to beware since some aftermarket from China as well as others have a very short life.

Moved to the Workshop forum. As Tunnan mentioned, you don't want the aftermaket DIC because they usually don't last very long and can cause other strange things. OEM is the way to go.
