93 9000 CSE rear brake snafu

Bought a rear brake kit from EEuro which came with a set of nice Brembo rotors, Bosch Pads, new clips and rotor bolt/pin's

I also bought rebuild calipers Nugeon brand.

I have an issue where I can not retract the piston far enough to get the pads to slide over the rotor. I know about the dust cap and little screw gear in the back and I turned it all the way, but it is not enough. If I remove the sheet metal pieces from the pads I can just get the pads over the rotor, obviously not an ideal situation.

    What am I missing?

back of caliper = small bolt - remove this. Inside there is an Allen or Torque bolt - retract it as you compress the piston.

Once installed onto the car (pads on rotors) turn it back in 1/4 turn. Should be good then.

Well, suppose you did that and they still do not fit? like .060" to fat

Eeuro took Saab pads and compared them to the Bosch pads I got. Bosch are thicker. They credited me for the Bosch and I ordered the Saab pads.

New Pads were about .060 thinner each than the Bosch pads. Everything is working nice now.
