Michel Annink becomes the first in Sweden to drive a Saab 9-5 SportCombi on public roads. The car never got launched before bankruptcy and had not driven on public roads. But after ten months of hard work, he may now drive the car on public roads.

    - It has definitely been worth it. It's such a unique and stylish car that it was worth concern, says Michel Annink.

    - It feels really nice to run it.

At the end of March this year, auctioned the very last Saab cars out of the carmaker's bankruptcy estate. The new model Saab 9-5 SportCombi never had time to come in the series and the Saab-geeks was the chance to get their hands on really rare cars.

There was a problem, the 9-5 SportCombi was not driven on public roads. The model could never be typregistrerad before bankruptcy. In addition, some of the cars registered to test cars.

But that did not stockholmsbon and enthusiast Michel Annink from buying the almost unique 9-5. After ten months of work and struggle, he has now got the car pass and he can drive on Swedish roads. Michel Annink says he explored all the possibilities that existed for driving a car in Sweden and in the end he went to Germany where he got the car pass. But in Sweden it was still stopped.

    - But I appealed the decision and got right a week ago. Now I've gone back to the vehicle inspection and got the car pass.

    - This is a completely unique car and a great car that you really want. When the issue was less important if you had to run it from day one.

That is quite the story and a lengthy process to get the car on the road. Looks great in white, too bad there are so few of them.

    Gefeliciteerd met de nieuwe Saab!
