    On a turbo the only real benefit of a 3" system comes from the downpipe to the cat. The rest makes very little difference unless you are looking for silly amounts of power. The 3" DP certainly helps reducing lag and improves turbo spool up a lot.

    1991 900 SE Turbo Convertible, 2000 Saab 9-5 3.0 Wagon
    Just to follow up, today I was able to source a used front pipe-to-transmission mount from a picknpull salvage yard. The car was a 1992 Turbo convertible with an A/T.
    FYI the A/T and manual trans cars use the same mount. It was pretty greasy but cleaned and wire-brushed well and went right on.

    Yes it is the same mount. Just different mounting holes for manual or auto.
