2.8 ltr automatic transmission anomolie
Hi Saab devotees, The 2010 9-5 2.8 ltr I own with approximately 60K doesn't like hard acceleration. Under hard acceleration the transmission seem to go to nuetral, (somehwere between 3rd and 5th gear) clunking all the way. An immediate lifting off the pedal puts everything back to normal. Does not occur when using the manual shift feature. Anyone experience this?????

I had something similar happen to me under hard acceleration just one time. Went back to normal. The only thing I noticed is the engine was not yet warmed up (had just left my house a few minutes earlier). I also have a 2010 9-5 2.8T but have right at 30K miles. Has it happened again? All the time?

Hey thank you for responding. It has happened 7 or 8 times. I haven't noticed whether it's when the car is warm. I will pay attention to that.

I have not seen or heard of this issue with them yet - but I will browse through some bulletins and tech tips to see if anything has been released for it from Saab.
