Mystery noise
I have owned my 04 93 convertible for two years and have enjoyed the car. I have made several repairs with no issues (coil packs, front struts, seat belts). ever since I purchased the car, it has made a noise when inserting the key. the noise comes from under the dash on passenger side. I would guess it is a relay of some sort. It cycles for about 8 to 12 times. This is before the engine is started. It does not seem to be any sort of issues as the car runs great. Just wondering if anyone has the same noise and what if anything can or should be done about it.

The only noise I can think of when you insert the key is the steering column lock releasing, but that would be on the driver side of the dash. Any chance you could post a video/sound clip?
