Need to replace CPS to solve hard start issue - need help locating it on engine
Experiencing hard start issue when engine is hot (always starts great when cold and performs great as I just replaced spark plugs with NGK OEs)
Can anyone help me locate the Crankshaft Position Sensor on the engine block (2008-93-20T) - can anyone share a diagram ?

Happy New Year
With no replies so far, I may give it a start. From the 9-5 (1998-2009) forum there is following information given from the Saab WIS, with regard to the Crankshaft Position Sensor : http://saabworld.net/f29/saab-9-5-cr...ensor-cps-648/. Assuming it refers to the 2.0 liter engine, it is comparable to your 2.0T.
Then there is some Crank Sensor information given on the Thesaabsite.com, Crankshaft Sensors Saab 2003-2010: http://www.thesaabsite.com/93new/Saa...KSHAFT_SENSORS. Note FAQ: Crank Sensor Replacement.

I always use a Stubby ratchet or a fine tooth locking head ratchet. Torx T35 I believe and go from beneath right up to it. Using ramps makes it even easier unless you have a lift.

Another removal/replacement suggestion, this pertaining to 9-3 with the B207 engine: Disconnect battery -cable, raise the car, disconnect starter motor +cable, remove - motor retaining bolts and move it aside. Thus there is access to the CPS from below.
