Navigation GPS map and firmware updates for Saab 9-5 NG

Unfortunately not, I have nowhere to park it, well I have a garage but if I put the car in it I would have to get out through the boot. Also I have no need of a second car.

You had no way of knowing that I was in the process of buying a NG9-5 so I took it that you thought my details were up to date, well they are but there isn't a "coming soon" space.

Does anyone know where i can get the E800 SW ZIP FILES so that I can update the SW on my 2011 Saab 95 NG.
After reading some of the threads I denoted that my SW needed to be updated based on the fact that the SAT-NAV defaults to Belgium.

e800 is available from the downloads section from this site, format a USB, unzip the files then stick it in the USB slot and it should run automatically

What format does the USB be need to be in.
I have an Apple Mac Book Pro.
I have downloaded the SW to my Mac.
Do I need to have a PC.

Format the USB using something like FAT32 to ensure it is clean then download the files to the USB, unzip them then insert to your USB point, it should start automatically. I kept the car running to ensure the system stayed on for the full duration. Apple Mac shouldn't make an difference as its simply copying to the USB. Good luck

I don't recognise FAA_BC07.VBK, if you stick with the 2 downloaded files that is all you need. There should also be instructions that can be downloaded plus if you read some of the threads on this forum members have added to the instructions.

Updated the SW on my 2011 95 NG yesterday.
Update worked 100%.
Bluetooth, SAT Nav, Stereo issue all resolved.
Cant thank you enough.
If you are ever in Ireland I owe you a drink or two or more.

you're very welcome and I may take you up on that offer !!! The irony is my own system does not work at all so I have not had the benefit of all my digging around and research. I will be forced to an aftermarket unit in the near future so could be interesting, regards
