Going to navigation.com and buying the Opel Ampera and tick the 2011 model, I get a product that was updated last time in 2013? At least, that what is said on the web site. When will there be a 2014/15 version available?

    1 X GM - NORTH AMERICA MAP UPDATE - DENSO GLOBAL A - V.2016

Just ordered this from GMs site. Says compatiable with 2010 Models (saab wasnt on list but previous updates that 2010 buicks were compatible with so was the saab)
Its back ordered to Feb, so ill update on if it works. $201 bucks dropped, I hope it works...

Thank you. I'm possibly about to send the entire unit to Italy for repair and this might just be perfect timing!

Do you know if they have a European version as well? Or they only sell North American versions through the GM site? When looking at www.navigation.com they still only have the 2013 version for Europe, and that is a shame!

Yes. Still 2013 but have mailed their Customer Services and asked when any up-date is due.

Reply from Here - "no update available or planned". I also asked if there was an alternative to the Ampera source - "Not there problem" but they refer you to a GM / Opel / Vauxhall dealer. Not very helpful.

has anyone tried this map update, claims to be for all Saab 9-5 with a Denso touchscreen and at £39.99 is significantly cheaper than official channels.........http://satnavdiscsale.com/saab-2014-...tion-203-p.asp

No address, no phone number and not even domain registration details. Pretty sure these are not official map and software updates from the manufacturer.

Doesn't look like the NG9-5 display so I would not think this is suitable for ALL 9-5s.
Perhaps the Denso units were the OG9-5.
Had my cars not been fitted as standard I would not have the factory option fitted as there are now better mapping apps for smart-phones and at a much cheaper cost.

Didn't have time to read the "bumff" but I would also look for company address details etc and you can check any data protection registration details within the EU from the national registration bodies. This would start any alarm bells ringing.
But apart from that - I would agree with Wulf's comments.
