European Maps For 2011 Saab 95 (Opel Ampera Disc's)

    Good Colin

Sorry to hear you update did not work.
I now would like to update the Maps on my built in SAT-NAV system.
I have seen some threads where it states the Opel Ampera DVD disc/disc's can also be used to update the Saab 95 NG SAT-NAV system.

    Q1
    Is this correct.

    Q2
Which year disc/disc's should I buy, my car is 2011.
    2011,2012,2013,2014

    Regards
    Denis Ryan

The satnav update is a hot topic on this forum and the Ampera is mentioned but if you do some digging around you will find jaguar and Landover as possibly being compatible. I can't really offer any advice other than to read what others have done / discovered though check what version you are currently on as there is no point going to something older. The last Saab NG version was 2012.

The update will not affect the SAAB logo. You are safe there.
Does it have Eu maps for the us software as well for Cadillac/Buick disk?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had used Henrik Blom's replacement hard drive to update the nav maps, to 2013 and would it be possible to remove the hdd and add even newer maps in this way?

I have not but I believe its easy.
Please review the H Blom Website where you will find a movie clip how to remove the HDD.

We're deep into 2018, heading quickly towards 2019. Any updates on map/nav updates? Is it worth going through the trouble updating firmware to E800 as earlier in this thread, and anyone been able to update maps to much newer than 2013 (Opel Ampera 2011, the overblown 249 euro dvd set on navigation.com)?
